Blueparrot Events - Theatre

Theatre is where it all began for Blueparrot. Many of us have very strong theatrical backgrounds, our creative flair serves us well when producing events too. We offer lighting design, programming and operation as well as all stage management services from Production Manager through to ASM's.

As well as supplying theatre's nationwide with our extensive hire stock we also provide services to theatre, and many of us continue to work as theatre practitioners on a weekly basis. Our main area's of expertise are Lighting Design and Stage Management, but we also provide Sound Design and Set Design and construction.

Lighting Design - Our lighting designers have experience working on shows of all types and sizes, ranging from intimate studio plays to large scale musicals in 3000 seat regional theatres, as well as site specific work. To be a good designer you need to have a great understanding of the tools of your trade - working in a busy hire house certainly helps with that!

As well as designers we can provide lighting programmers for your production. We currently have expert programmers on the ETC Eos and Ion consoles as well as anything Avolites.

WYSIWYG - we always have the latest version of this industry standard visualisation software and offer our WYSIWYG suite for hire. Contact us for further information.

Stage Management - We have skilled Production Managers, Stage Managers, DSMs and ASMs on our books, with plenty of experience in residential and touring theatre alike. We also offer free use of our offices for production work when you have one of our team on board.
