Supply and operation of our ever-popular colorweb for the Bay Festival on the Isle of Man. A number of diverse acts performed on the main stage with Colorweb as the main feature of the back-drop. Artists included JLS, The Saturdays, Calvin Harris, Lemar, The Feeling and Spandau Ballet. The stars of last year's X-Factor also performed.

Blueparrot provided and operated all the technical aspects for this event including lighting, sound, AV and set. In keeping with the theme for the event power consumption was kept to an absolute minimum by using the latest in energy saving equipment. LED color washes were used to light the set and walls of the room, whilst lanterns with lower wattage and superior optics were used to project custom gobo's to add identity to the event. The entire technical aspect event ran off the equivalent power used by 3 toasters.

Supply of event management services for this exciting event including supply of all interior & exterior lighting, staging and sound systems as well as Lighting Design for the event. Almost 200 lights and 10km of cable made this a complex event from the outset. Added to this most of our work had to be carried out whilst public access to the site was maintained. A tight two day get-in period kept us on our toes but the event went off without a hitch and we received nothing but positive feedback from the organisers and the residents of Dunfermline.

Blueparrot helped to transform Dunfermline Town Hall for this spectacular event. A moving light rig was installed over the stage with a starcloth back drop for the presentation of the awards. Four 50" Plasma screens around the room showed short videos about the award winners. General atmospheric lighting for the main room, foyer and outside was also provided.

Supply of complete event management services for this prestigious event for the second year running. This included supply of all AV, lighting, staging and set. The sports hall at West Lothian College was transformed into a magnificent venue which included over 120m of starcloth, a set and stage with 2 large screens with a 3 camera live relay of the event as well as graphics and VT for the awards ceremony. There was also a complete moving light rig, full of custom gobo's allowing for 2 very different looks for the 2 different evenings. Images available in our Corporate Events gallery. By replacing conventional fixtures with LED fixtures we were able to reduce power consumption of the event by half.

Blueparrot provided all the lighting equipment for this musical at the prestigious Edinburgh Playhouse. The kit list included 4 x VL1000TS, 6 x VL3000 Spot, 10 x VL2500 Spot, 12 x Martin 301 LED moving heads, 12 x Rainbow scrollers, 10 x SGM Ribalta, 3 x SGM Palco 5 and various generic ETC Source 4 fixtures, all controlled from an ETC Ion which Blueparrot also supplied.

Blueparrot's Director, Jonnie Clough, was the lighting designer: "Working with the Ion made plotting with this large rig a walk in the park. We were under huge time constraints but the easy syntax and 'move-while-dark' options really helped us."

Blueparrot provided exterior lighting and projection for a 60th Birthday party at Duns Castle. The exterior was lit using LED fixtures allowing for full RGB colour mixing whilst using very little power. A large screen was also rigged above the main entrance which showed a special video birthday message from friends and family. As this aspect of the evening was a surprise we had to rig in almost complete silence whilst the guests were eating inside. This also meant that we only had a 2 hour window to get completely set up. The family were extremely pleased with the result:

Blueparrot provided lighting design, equipment and operation for a series of 3 concerts at Cheltenham College. Equipment included Avolites Pearl Expert with the new Titan software, various Vari-Lite fixtures and LED fixtures from SGM. With extremely tight get-in and out schedules our team proved themselves once again with their professionalism and efficiency. Color Web came into its own with its radically fast set up time and ease of use. With a 9am get-in, the show was ready for the first concert at 2.30pm. After the final concert we were clear from the building within just 90 minutes, as
the venue received its next function.

Blueparrot were proud to sponsor this production with the provision of lighting equipment. We supplied 4 x SGM Ribalta to provide a light curtain for back light,
6 x Martin Mac 250 washes for general stage wash, a Robert Juliat Super-Korrigan followspot and some Selecon Acclaims along with all the mains and data cabling required. Lighting Designer Sergey Jakovsky was very grateful for the extra equipment, which greatly enhanced the production values of the show.
